After four months and over $200,000 of improvements, the Annual Capital Projects team completed updates to the renamed Groce Pépin Culinary Innovation Laboratory in early 2022. The first update in 30 years brought the state-of-the-art teaching kitchen granite countertops, stainless steel stoves, glass door fridge, a commercial sink station, and a fresh coat of paint.

The most important change, however, comes in the five new cameras and monitors installed in the space. The tech helps students get a better look at the food being prepared, and allows the lab to stream classes, expanding potential audiences exponentially.
