Leventhal Center Wins Boston Preservation Award
The Leventhal Center will receive a 2015 Preservation Achievement Award from the Boston Preservation Alliance in a ceremony tonight at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. The honor recognizes outstanding achievement in historic preservation and compatible new construction.

CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of October 25, 2015
This past week the project team began installation of the large crawler crane. The crane installation will be completed on Saturday (10/24). Structural steel installation will progress rapidly over the next few weeks.
CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of October 18, 2015
This past week the project team implemented a new approach to the structural steel frame installation. A mid-sized hydraulic is being used to install steel on the east side of the site. The large crawler crane has been rescheduled to mobilize the end of next week.

The project team is gearing up to start the installation of the building structural steel frame. We will continue to install the ground floor slab and will begin crane mobilization next week.

CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of October 4, 2015
The project team has completed the building foundation and will now start the ground floor slab. There will be large concrete slab pours on Tuesday (10/6), Thursday (10/8), Friday (10/9), and Saturday (10/10) next week.
CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of September 27, 2015
The installation of the concrete foundation will continue next week. The foundation work is approximately 85% complete and is expected to be finished in early October.
“Amazing” Law Tower Renovation Complete
Except for a few last-minute touches, the exterior and interior makeover of the Law Tower is now complete and right on schedule, rising in its fully restored glory beside the attached Sumner M. Redstone Building, which opened in 2014.
