Joan and Edgar Booth Theatre & Boston University Production Center – Construction Activity – 5/18/17 – 6/5/17
Install shoring for the north plaza in parking area below. The glass wall will be constructed in the coming months. This will require hoisting into place and construction of glass fins to add strength to the wall. The necessary mechanical lifts will require shoring to strengthen decks for equipment to drive on.
Myles Standish Hall – Saturday Work – 05/20/17
Saturday work will include installation of valance units, roof insulation, installation of masonry staging, waterproofing on fraco ( Lift 8 – Beacon Street) and clean up and loadout (Bay State Road).
Myles Standish Hall – Construction Activity – 5/13/17 – 5/19/17
The electrician will continue running a test of the fire alarm system on the construction-side of Myles. During this time, the strobe lights will be going off and minimal sound will be emitted through the speakers, as needed. The work is expected to continue intermittently throughout the week.

Saturday work will include flooring mitigation, installation of valance units, roof insulation, installation of masonry staging, waterproofing on fraco, and clean up and loadout.

Booth Theatre & Boston University Theatre Production Center – Construction Activity – 5/4/17 – 5/22/17
Activation of permanent electrical power by Eversource, work done by Gaston Electrical. The west parking lot will be busy with deliveries to support the construction work. Trash to be removed from the site will be taken out of the building through a trash chute on the west side of the building.
