BU Theatre Center – Construction Activity – 8/27/16 – 9/17/16
For August 27, 2016 through September 17, 2016:
- Site preparation and enabling construction activities will continue as permitted by the Town of Brookline and in accordance with the approved Construction Management Plan.
- Authorized work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Key Construction Activities
Upcoming Saturday Work: August 27th and September 10th
- Work is scheduled to occur on Saturday 8/27 and 9/10. Pile driving operations and site excavation will continue.
Now through September 17, 2016
- Excavation, trenching, all underground site utilities installations and foundation installation will be ongoing.
- Support of excavation work is ongoing.
- Pile driving operation for foundations will continue. After significant study and real time analysis on installation of piles against existing soil conditions, pile installation will go into mid-September. Current projection suggests pile driving will continue for the next three weeks with a target completion date of September 17th.
- Concrete cast-in-place foundations will begin after Labor Day and continue through completion of foundations.
