West Campus Dining Expansion – Construction Update – 07/14/23

General Project Updates

This past week, excavation work on the new sidewalk was completed, and the site was prepped and ready for the curb and paver base layer.
Sheetrock wall installation is completed along with the first and second coats of paint in many areas.
Tapping of soffit faces has been completed.
Containment and abatement of room 122 has been completed.
Kitchen floor removal is complete. Electrical coring and rough-in for kitchen equipment are ongoing.
Lighting swap out is ongoing.
Roof exhaust and hood connections are complete.
Rear store front glass has been removed.

Shutdown of the electrical panel for the kitchen equipment and feed new wiring.
Start tile infill in the front of house equipment area.
Tile floor at the gluten-free walk-in fridge.
Power shutdown for relocation of generator enunciator.
Core holes, set, and tie-in for floor sinks.
Finish up wall taping and prepare for paint.
Set walkway curb. Pour base layer concrete for pavers. Curb and paver base work in the plaza/sidewalk area.
Core for the power unit of the turnstiles.
