Move-In Week Traffic Management Plan
General Project Information
Daily Work Hours are from 7 am – 3:30 pm.
The approved BTD Traffic Management Plan for the project remains in place.
Relocated accessible parking spaces posted for use on 6/29 (in front of 81 and 83 Bay State Road).
Jersey barrier site containment in place, pedestrian walkway also in place and operational. The city sidewalk in front of Kilachand Hall is now permitted to be used as part of the construction site limits.
Bike lane painting is completed and the bike lane is fully functional.
Additional meters have been purchased by the project to be used for resident parking for the duration of construction. The additional spots are on Deerfield Street at the intersection with Bay State Road and will be available in the weeks following Labor Day.
BU parking spots directly behind Kilachand Hall on Back Street remain ano parking zone.This will continue for the duration of the project to maintain an adequate drive lane for local traffic on Back Street and allow for the construction team to safely contain a work area north of the dormitory.
After Labor Day, the parking lane used for move-in week will be back under containment for use by the construction team.

During the weekend of September 3rd
No construction activities will take place over Labor Day weekend.
New suite framing is ongoing in construction areas surrounding the new elevator hoistway and stairwell.
During the week of September 5th
No work on Monday, September 5th (Labor Day)
Riggs masonry continues with new lintel installation and waterproofing details at window headers throughout parts of the west, east, and north elevations. Building corner build back will continue.
SOS and Costello to continue with the clean-up of the 9th-floor renovation space.
Mass Acoustics to continue framing in isolated construction areas on each floor.
RicMor will continue fireproofing new steel at elevators and the stairwell.
Murphy electric will be performing overhead rough-in in renovation areas.
Consigli/Riggs team on site providing cleaning support and supervision.
