Kilachand Hall Phase 2 – Construction Update – 04/01/22
Preparing for Construction
Starting in early April, and continuing through the weeks leading up to Commencement, there will be some light construction enabling activity consisting of scaffold erection in select areas around Kilachand Hall.
The erection of the scaffolding will take approximately two weeks in each location.
Once completed, that section will be locked out and no further activity will take place until after Commencement.
From May 5th through May 13th, through the study and exam periods, no construction enabling activity will take place at all to adhere to the quiet time on campus.
Location of scaffold erection starting point – west side elevation.
During the week of April 4th
Set up of site fencing at the southwest corner of the building to enable the start of scaffold erection in the west alley.
Erection of ground-up scaffolding at west side building elevation to fire escape only.
