During the week of May 3rd

  • Following the final concrete placement at the tower’s core on April 27th, crews will continue to disassemble the formwork and climbing system and remove them from the site.
    • Waterproofing of the perimeter foundation walls will continue. Backfilling the foundation walls will follow after the waterproofing operation.
    • The shoring posts, which supported the formwork for the tower’s ground floor slab while the concrete achieved its design strength, will be removed.
    • The next major activity on site will be forming the building’s structural steel frame. This operation is scheduled to begin the second week of May and will continue for several months. During this time, the project will be implementing a second shift, from 3 pm – 10 pm, Mondays through Saturdays, to maintain the project’s overall schedule.
    • As the structural steel operation begins, trucking activity to and from the site will increase. Between two and four tractor trailers are expected to be arriving and departing daily. Details will be positioned at the gates to assist. However, pedestrians should be vigilant of trucks entering and exiting the site.
