Decking installation for the tower’s ground floor slab

During the weekend of April 3rd

  • Crews intend to work on site Saturday to continue advancing on the 15th floor of the tower’s core.
  • Also, on Saturday, crews will be on site for the removal of the top level of cross-bracing from the Support of Excavation (SEO) system in the tower. Two mobile cranes will be on site to assist with this operation.

During the week of April 5th

  • At the tower’s core, concrete is scheduled to be placed for the 15th floor early in the week. The remainder of the week will be spent removing the formwork from the 15th floor and installing formwork and rebar at the 16th floor; concrete placement is scheduled for the end of the week.
  • The installation of waterproofing at the tower’s foundation walls will continue. Backfilling of these areas will follow as waterproofing is completed.
  • Formwork and rebar installation for the ground floor slab will continue in the tower.
  • Installation of “Stair C” will begin in the northeast corner of the podium from the lower level to the ground floor.
  • In advance of structural steel erection beginning in early May, the installation of a temporary foundation system will begin. This system will be used to support the building’s cantilevers as steel members are set in place.
  • Beginning at the end of the week, and continuing through the weekend of April 10th & 11th, additional sections will be added to the mast of the tower crane, increasing the height that the crane can reach.
  • Please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered. We will continue to provide you with up-to-date information via these notifications.
