CFA Renovations – Construction Update – 8/14/20
For the period of August 13th – August 21st:
Please note that there is work scheduled for this weekend Saturday, August 15th & Sunday, August 16th. Starting on Saturday, the west alley will be closed so that exterior signage can be installed. The ramp on the east elevation will be open. On Monday, August 17th, the west alley will reopen and the ramp on the east will close to allow for overhead work to continue.
General:
The ramp on the east elevation will remain closed to allow for overhead work to be completed. The center entrance along Commonwealth Avenue and the west alley will remain open.
Temporary signs are posted to help direct you through the first floor.
Exterior:
East Façade
- Wash down of the archways will begin next week.
- Paving operations on the upper lot will begin towards the end of next week.
West Façade
- Limestone wash down will be ongoing for the next few days.
North Façade
- Repairs to the window jambs will continue over the next several weeks.
- Work rebuilding the chimney will continue.
As a reminder to all, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered at both the interior and exterior of the building. Your safety is imperative!
