CFA Renovations – Construction Update – 8/7/20
For the period of August 7th – August 14th:
General:
The ramp on the east elevation will remain closed to allow for overhead work to be completed. The center entrance along Commonwealth Avenue and the west alley will remain open. Temporary signs are posted to help direct you through the first floor.
Exterior
East Façade
- Limestone wash down will occur.
- Paving operations on the upper lot will begin towards the end of next week.
South Façade
- Window washing will occur.
West Façade
- Limestone wash down will occur.
North Façade
- Repairs to the window jambs will continue over the next several weeks.
- Work rebuilding the chimney will continue.
Interior
On the 1st Level
Work will continue on the art gallery punch list.
As a reminder to all, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered at both the interior and exterior of the building. Your safety is imperative!
