Center for Computing & Data Sciences – Construction Update – 5/8/20

On Tuesday, May 5th, the project team received approval from the City of Boston to resume limited activity on site.
On Thursday, May 7th, Suffolk Construction remobilized to the site to begin reworking the fence line and began setting up their COVID-19 safety plan, which includes: equipment mobilization, testing tents, hand wash stations, toilet facilities, etc.
Beginning on Monday, May 11th, Suffolk Construction and their subcontractor, Welch, will resume the surcharge work involving lading gravel material in the alley between the Granby St. lot and the Bay State Rd. brownstones. Please note, access to the rear of the Bay Sate Rd. brownstones west to Granby will be eliminated. Truck activity will be coming and going from the site throughout the day.
