Geothermal Well Drilling Initiative – Construction Update – 4/19/19
During the week of April 22nd
Park Test Well #3
- Laframboise to continue to mud rotary drill with the PDC bit.
- Upon completion of the drilling operation, Laframboise will need to clean the hole with appropriately 7,000 gallons of water. The water will be discharged to the permitted catch basin on Granby Street.
- Demobilize drilling equipment at TW-3.
- Construction equipment will periodically access the park from Granby Street. A water truck will periodically back out of the TW-3 site to fill up at the hydrant located at the corner of Granby St. and Bay State Rd.
Alley
- The spoils stockpile will remain in the alley. Parking spots will be out of service during this operation.
- Construction equipment will periodically enter/exit the alley from Granby Street to access the storage area.
