BU Theatre Center – Construction Activity – 8/13/16 – 9/2/16

For August 13, 2016 through September 2, 2016

Site preparation and enabling construction activities will continue as permitted by the Town of Brookline and in accordance with the approved Construction Management Plan.
Authorized work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Key Construction Activities

Upcoming Saturday Work:
- Work is scheduled for the next three Saturdays (August 13^th, 20^th, and 27^th). Pile driving operations and site excavation will continue.
Now through September 2, 2016: Demolition, excavation, trenching, all underground site utilities installations, and foundation installation will be ongoing. Support of excavation work is ongoing. Pile driving operation for foundations has begun and will continue for the next 4 to 6 weeks and is expected to be complete September 2^nd. Noise and vibrations can be expected from this pile driving operation.
August 15^th through August 19^th: Eversource will be performing work on Essex Street and the power tie-in for 808 Commonwealth Ave is scheduled to begin August 15^th.
August 17^th through August 22^nd: Work for a new domestic water tie in for 808 Commonwealth Avenue will begin August 17th. During this work, the building will be closed and unable to be occupied starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 17^th. The building will re-open for use and occupancy at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23^rd.
