CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of 1/17/16
For the week of 1/17/16:
Next week the project team will be finishing up structural steel and continuing slab-on-deck concrete. We have scheduled concrete pours Tuesday through Thursday (1/19 – 1/22) between the hours of 5 AM and 11 AM. Winter-weather tarps will be installed up to the roof level.
There will be a large volume of concrete trucks entering and exiting the site during the morning hours next week. We will also be accepting deliveries off of Cummington Mall between the hours of 6 AM and 7 AM.
Police details will continue to man the construction gates along Commonwealth Avenue to ensure public safety. The safety of our community is our highest priority, so we ask that you please pay close attention to posted signs, police, and safety personnel.
The schedule of communications meetings for the spring semester has yet to be determined. Once a schedule is set, it will be posted on the project website and included in weekly updates.
