*The contractor WILL be working on Saturday, 5/4/2013.

1. Site & Utility Work: Already underway and continuing for the next several weeks is site work, which includes excavators, and other earthmoving equipment. You can expect general construction noise from the equipment, and construction traffic in the form of dump trucks on the surrounding streets. Excavation and hauling of soils will continue throughout the week. Truck activity for both the removal of the excavated soils, and backfilling of exterior foundations walls will be coordinated and Police details will be present to help manage traffic flow.

2. Structural Precast Concrete Erection – Continuing through the next several weeks is the erection of structural precast concrete. This will include several weeks of extremely heavy truck traffic, including the continuous delivery of oversized loads to the site. Parking restrictions will be implemented on both Babcock and Ashford Streets during this period. These parking restrictions at meters will be strictly enforced. Within the site, a 2250 Manitowoc Crawler Crane will be working to set structural precast sections. You can expect general construction noise from the trucking and equipment, and you can expect an extremely heightened volume of construction traffic in and around the surrounding streets from the continuous deliveries of structural precast concrete sections. During this phase, an increased presence of police details will be working and coordinating to help manage traffic flow.
