At VHB, Van provides sustainability planning services to stakeholders in both public and private sectors. She works on various projects including green building and infrastructure certifications, developing climate action and sustainability plans, and climate vulnerability assessment. Prior to VHB, Van served as Special Assistant/Sustainability Adviser to the Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space at the City of Boston. In this role, she also supported the Climate Team in implementing the City’s Climate Action Plan and managing Greenovate Boston, a citywide sustainability program. While pursuing her Masters in City Planning at BU, Van worked as Program Manager at Second Nature, a non-profit organization with a mission to promote sustainability in higher education.
