Clifford Cook, MRP

Mr. Cook is an urban planner with experience across a broad range of topic areas.  His cross-cutting perspective is one of collecting, analyzing and using data to support planning efforts. The bulk of his career has been spent as a planner and data analyst with the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts.  There he supported a wide range of planning initiatives across a range of comprehensive planning, land use, housing, economic development, transportation and environmental topics. He also acted as an in-house demographics consultant for a cross section of other municipal programs and departments. His expertise covers the creation, collection, management, interpretation, and distribution of local, state and federal data products, with emphasis on physical planning topics and demographics.  

Mr. Cook previously served on the Cambridge Open Data Review Board and was past-President and board member of the Association of Public Data Users as well as a member of the Census Data Products Review Group. Currently, he is a member of the Boston University City Planning and Urban Affairs Advisory Board and chairs the Watertown, MA Housing Trust.
