Viviana Randolph
Preschool Teacher
Viviana was born and raised in Mendoza, the heart of Argentina’s wine country, and had been living in the United States for twenty years. She has always enjoyed children and started working with them informally at age sixteen as part of a community program for disadvantaged children in her home city. Later, Viviana worked in private settings for prominent families in New York and Boston for more than a decade. She started her more formal work with children as an Assistant Teacher under the guidance of Donna Housman, founder and CEO of the Housman Institute, a pioneer in early childhood education and the creator of evidence based approach Begin to ECSEL, an emotional, cognitive, and social early learning approach. Viviana is coming to the Children’s Center with six years of experience working with children age twelve weeks to three years old.
Working with children is a passion for Viviana and she is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with Early Intervention. Viviana has a degree in Work Safety from the Catholic University of Argentina and is certified by the EEC as an Infant and Toddler Teacher.
What Viviana likes the most about children is their curious imagination, friendly nature, and generous souls. She knows the importance of meaningful relationships in the early years for brain development and loves seeing children build on their individualities and independence. Viviana envisions working with children in structured settings and school programs as a lifelong dream.
Viviana adores walking and playing with her dog, as well as reading, cooking, and working in different projects during her free time. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
