Calendar

Daily attendance at the Center is not required, as these early years are the only time in your child’s life when you can dictate their school schedule. Our earliest drop-off time is 8:30am and we ask that you try to pick your child up by 5:20pm so you have time to speak with your child’s teachers about their day and leave the Center no later than 5:30pm.

The Center follows the University’s Holiday Calendar. Please see the closure dates below for the 2022-2023 school year:

  • Labor Day-September 5th, 2022
  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day-October 10th, 2022
  • Veteran’s Day-November 11th, 2022
    • Professional Development Day
  • Early Closure before Thanksgiving-November 23rd, 2022
    • Center closes at 3:00pm
  • Thanksgiving Day & Day After Thanksgiving-November 24th & 25th, 2022
  • University Intercession-December 23rd, 2022-January 1st, 2023
    • Center closes at 5:30pm December 22nd, 2022
  • New Year’s Day-January 2nd, 2023
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day-January 16th, 2023
  • Presidents’ Day-February 20th, 2023
  • Patriots’ Day–April 17th, 2023
  • Early Closure before Memorial Day Weekend-May 26th, 2023
    • Center closes at 3:00pm
  • Memorial Day–May 29th, 2023
  • Juneteenth-June 19th, 2023
  • Early Closure before Independence Day-July 3rd, 2023
    • Center closes at 3:00pm
  • Independence Day–July 4th, 2023
  • Preparation Week-August 28th-September 1st, 2023

Additional Closures:

  • Preparation Week-five days at the end of August
  • Early closure one day in December for end of year staff gathering
  • Spring Professional Development Early Closure Day
    • This typically happens in March or April, and the early closure will happen at 12:00 noon.
