Jenny Wolfson
Center Administrator
Jenny graduated from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. After graduation, she worked at a camp in North Carolina for children and adults on the autism spectrum, which led to working as a Teacher’s Assistant in a K-2 classroom for children on the spectrum in Chapel Hill, NC. Jenny then decided to come back north to attend the Master’s Program at Wheelock College in Boston as a Graduate Student in Teaching Students with Moderate Disabilities (prek-8). During this time, Jenny was an intern at the Lincoln Elementary School in Brookline in their Preschool classroom. After her internship ended, she was asked by the family of one of her students to be a 1:1 aide for their daughter in her Hebrew School class at Congregation Kehillath Israel. For the next eight years, Jenny worked in a variety of roles at the synagogue, including as a Preschool Teacher and the Office Manager.
In 2013, Jenny decided to go back to teaching full-time and began working as a Preschool Teacher at Bright Horizons at the Prudential Center. In 2017, she transferred to the Bright Horizons at Brookline as a Preschool Teacher before being promoted to Health and Safety Director during the COVID pandemic.
Jenny also serves the older population in Brookline living in an independent senior housing facility as an on-call emergency personnel.
In her role as an Administrator, Jenny enjoys interacting with every family at drop-off and pick-up and supporting each family through the most important years of their child’s life.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys reading, attending concerts, researching her family tree, cheering for any team but the Red Sox (mainly the Yankees) and spending time with her family in VT and NJ.
