Camryn Liem

Toddler Teacher

Camryn grew up in Connecticut and graduated from BU with a Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. During her time as a student, she worked as an assistant teacher in the infant and toddler rooms. As an AT, she formed close bonds with the children and families of BUCC. Outside the center, Camryn has gained experience with a wide range of ages in public schools and private home settings.

Camryn’s philosophy when working with kids is to respect each child as a complex and unique individual. Given her specific interest in speech and language development, she deeply values toddlerhood as a rich time for communication to blossom. She feels honored to work in a setting where she can observe and support this development every day.

Outside of the classroom, Camryn loves to dance, make crafts, go to cafes, and shop for secondhand clothes.
