Training and Ethical Engagement
CFD’s work in this area seeks to understand how best to train and prepare students, teachers, humanitarian workers, and other stakeholders to engage ethically with displacement contexts and affected individuals. Our research examines the skills needed to be successful advocates and existing training methods offered by NGO’s and other institutions. We consider the university’s ideal role in supporting training and ethical engagement through degree programs and beyond. We develop and share curricula and provide experiential opportunities and executive education.
