Souhaila Nassar
Graduate Fellow
Souhaila Nassar is a doctoral student in the Language & Literacy Education program at Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Her research focuses on pedagogies of care, identity work, and designing culturally resonant curricula for Palestinian refugee children. She also explores how translanguaging pedagogy can support multilingual learners in engaging with science as content and practice. Before her academic journey at Boston University, Souhaila taught middle school science for 10 years while managing educational initiatives at nonprofits in Lebanon and working as a graduate research assistant in the Language of Science and Mathematics Project at the American University of Beirut.
