On December 7th, join us for the first installment of CFD's Works in Progress Series. This is a hybrid event, hosted at 200 Riverway, Room 355 and accessible via Zoom using the information provided below. If you want to join us in person, please fill out THIS FORM so we can order lunch for you. A note on our presenters During his recent sabbatical, Dr. Kính T. Vũ, assistant professor of music at Boston University, studied the intersections of forced human displacement, adoption issues, and music teaching and learning. His research is ongoing with an eye for supporting international or transracial adoptees who musick between worlds of the United States, birth country, and nowhere at all. Shelley Brown, PhD, MPH is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences. Dr. Brown’s research focuses on the key linkages between health, human development and human rights, especially women’s mental health during the perinatal period. She is currently involved in a number of research projects in the United States and South Africa. Shelley’s research is deeply interdisciplinary and engages the larger themes of health equity, global health, health systems and women’s health, utilizing both health systems information and qualitative research to inform proposed changes in policy and clinical practice.
