Students reside at the International Guesthouse (IGH).  See the IGH website for more information about your accommodations.

The “T”

The train system is called the “T” in Boston.  To get to BU CELOP from IGH, Students can take the Green line B from Copley station to St. Paul Street.  Visit the MBTA website for a map of the T.  BU CELOP will provide you with T passes, giving you unlimited rides on the T and busses.

Dining

The Fresh Food Company at West Campus offers buffet-style meals.  See their hours and prices. They accept payment in cash or convenience points. You can purchase convenience points on your BU Student Link: under the Food & Shelter tab, click on “Convenience Points Purchase”. You can purchase points in intervals of $25.

Another popular option is to go to the Union Court at the George Sherman Union (GSU).  Visit their website for a list of options, and their opening hours.

Other Campus Facilities

Fitness and Recreation Center

The “FitRec” is located across the street from CELOP, and is free of charge to program participants.  These are some of the things you can access at the FitRec:

  • Workout Equipment
  • Intramural Courts (soccer, basketball, etc.)
  • Swimming Pools
  • Rock Climbing Wall
  • Running Track

Student Health Services

The SHS is an on-campus clinic located across the street from CELOP, and is free of charge to program participants.

BU Aetna Student Health

All students are automatically enrolled in the BU Aetna Student Health Insurance.  This insurance is required and cannot be waived.
