Keara Russell

Keara is a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in visual arts. At the DML, her research focuses on the development of mathematical cognition. Keara is also a research assistant at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders, specifically focusing on transdiagnostic treatment for emotional disorders. Outside of the labs, she is involved with Global Water Brigades, an NGO dedicated to sustainable development. She also partners with BU’s Sexual Assault Response and Prevention Center (SARP) to create public art awareness projects to support survivors of sexual violence. In her free time, Keara enjoys playing soccer, painting with watercolors on the Esplanade, and cheering on her beloved Boston sports teams.
