Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies announces new minor for undergraduate students.

The College of Arts & Sciences is proud to announce the launch of a minor in Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Studies. Through its focus on 20th-and 21st-century atrocities, this new minor will help students not only better understand recent history, but also understand the human potential for brutality.

The new minor, offered through the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies, will tackle the tough questions surrounding state-sponsored mass murders, from the Holocaust to the Rwandan genocide, and help studies draw comparisons and contrasts to modern day conflicts and simmering hatreds. Read more
