Professor of Biology and Associate Dean for Faculty, Natural Sciences
Cooper has stepped back from his long service as chair of the Department of Biology to take up this position. As a professor of biology, his research centers on the molecular mechanisms that control the growth and survival of human cells and how abnormalities of these processes lead to the development of cancer.
