How can I pay the application fee?
The online application system requires payment of the $95 application fee by credit card. When you are ready to submit your application, go to the Submit Application tab and click Submit.
Payments can only be made in the application via a credit card. We only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept any other type of credit card or payment method (no Alipay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, WeChat Pay, etc.). We do not accept checks, cryptocurrency, or money transfers (no Western Union or Money Gram). Credit card payments cannot be made over the phone.
Once you submit your application and payment, click View Payment History for each program on the Submit Application page to confirm your payment’s receipt.
Can I apply for an application fee waiver?
I am a current BU student. Do I have to pay the fee?
All Boston University students are required to pay the application fee, except those students currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS).
I would like to withdraw my application. Will the application fee be refunded?
No. The application fee will not be refunded if you withdraw your application from consideration.
