Doctoral Candidate, Gopal and Kaufman
I work with Dr. Suchi Gopal, Dr. Ethan Deyle, and Dr. Les Kaufman on studying Coupled Human and Natural Systems (CHANS). Currently, I am assisting Dr. Roelof Boumans on compiling data associated with a Multi-scale Integrated Model of Ecosystem Services (MIMES) and Marine Integrated Decision Analysis System (MIDAS) in the Gulf of Maine. We are examining the impacts that offshore wind energy could have on CHANS. Starting in January 2023, I will be joining Dr. Gopal and Dr. Kaufman on their newly awarded National Science Foundation Coastlines and People (NSF-CoPe) project focused on communities near coral reefs and integrating local knowledge while linking science, policy, and practice in reef preservation and resiliency.
