BUMP lecturer and New England Aquarium associate scientist Randi Rotjan was one of three experts invited to speak at the Advancing Science, Serving Society (AAAS) “Cutting Edge: The Oceans” lecture series (subscription required). Randi discussed five cutting edge topics in coral reef science: symbiosis, “omics” as reef diagnostics, ocean acidification, marine protected areas and connectivity.
