Didem Vardar-Ulu Awarded 2022 Neu Family Award for Excellence in Teaching

Congratulations to Dr. Didem Vardar-Ulu, Lecturer in the Chemistry Department, for being awarded the 2022 Neu Family Award for Excellence in Teaching. This award is one of the annual College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Teaching Awards that recognize outstanding professors in CAS. In nominating her, Dr. Vardar-Ulu’s recommenders noted:
“Students rave not only about her passion for the molecular sciences and about the many innovations that make her courses exciting and engaging but also about her care for them as people. One student, for example, cited her as ‘one of the most understanding, knowledgeable, passionate, and tirelessly encouraging teachers I encountered during my undergraduate career.”
