MFA’s Japanese Garden, Tenshin-en
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of campus, reconnect with nature at the MFA. The museum’s Japanese Garden, Tenshin-en (which translates to the Garden of the Heart of Heaven) is in bloom. The goal of this garden is to examine nature in its various forms: waterfalls, mountains, islands, and oceans. This combination of nature is said to evoke feelings of New England’s rocky coastline and forests.
The price of the garden is included in an MFA ticket. The MFA is free for BU students, faculty, and staff with a valid BU ID. More information, including hours and general ticket prices, here.
