January 19 to 22
Spring semester kicked off this week, but thanks to fortuitous timing, it’s already almost the weekend. The best way to celebrate life back on campus is to attend some of the BU Winter Weeks of Welcome events. There’s also a new coffee shop and restaurant on campus to check out. Happy weekend!
Saxbys Grand Opening
This much-anticipated café on the first floor of the Center for Computing & Data Sciences opens January 19, at 10:30 am. The menu includes coffees, teas, energy drinks, bakery items, breakfast burritos, and grilled cheeses.

First Day Fest
Stop by the table staffed by Student Government for free back-to-school swag.

Campus Clothing Swap
Student Government is organizing a clothing drive, and it’s a great way to off-load old duds as well as start the semester with some new outfit essentials. After you’re done perusing, try one of the interactive games.

Gingerbread Games
Rally three or four friends and compete in a gingerbread house decorating contest. All supplies will be provided.
