The Lineup for Senior Week 2023
A Time Out Market takeover, Zinneken’s waffles, and a night at Royale
You’re almost there, Class of 2023! After years of homework, exams, and online classes during a global pandemic, you have finally made it to the homestretch.
With Commencement weekend still a few days away, Student Activities has organized an array of on- and off-campus events throughout the week, including a takeover of Time Out Market, a night of dancing at Royale nightclub, and lots of free food.
Even though most of the events are free, be sure to register and claim a spot here. And don’t forget to bring your Eventbrite ticket confirmation and BU ID when you check in for each event. In the meantime, check out the Senior Week website and Campus Activities Board Instagram for the latest updates and announcements.
Note: Six Flags and the Red Sox games are sold out for this year’s Senior Week.
Sunday, May 14
Waffles and Chill
Kick off Senior Week with Zinneken’s waffles on the BU Beach. The popular Harvard Square bakery specializes in Belgian sugar waffles (aka Liège waffles), made from a dense dough covered in pearl sugar, which caramelizes as it bakes in the waffle iron. Spend the evening enjoying delicious waffles while playing lawn games with friends.
Waffles and Chill, 7 to 10 pm, BU Beach.

Time Out Market Takeover
BU is taking over Time Out Market in Fenway. The innovative dining venue, which spans over 27,000 square feet, will be open exclusively to BU seniors for a night of eating, drinking, and music. Get there early: the first 1,000 people in line will receive a $20 gift card to use for food.
Time Out Market Takeover, 8 to 11 pm, Time Out Market, 401 Park Dr., Boston.
Tuesday, May 16
Carnival @ the Beach
With summer quickly approaching, get outside and play some lawn games with friends, jump around in a bouncy house, or challenge yourself with an obstacle course. There will also be a variety of carnival and barbeque food, courtesy of the BU Alumni Association.
Carnival @ the Beach, 11 am to 3 pm, BU Beach.

Wednesday, May 17
Royale Night Out
Dance the night away with fellow seniors at Royale, a 33,000-square-foot nightclub located in Boston’s Theater District. Originally built in 1918 as an opera house, this multilevel megaclub includes a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and one of the largest indoor LED walls in New England.
Royale Night Out, 9 pm to 1 am, Royale, 279 Tremont St., Boston.
Thursday, May 18
Food Fest
Grab lunch from one of Greater Boston’s best food trucks. Don’t miss BU favorites like Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and Montilio’s Baking Company, as well as new vendors like Gonzalez Food Truck and Shishkaberry’s of New England.
Food Fest, 11 am to 2 pm, CAS Parking Lot and BU Beach.
