Boston University is booming with some amazing TikTok content creators. You’ve probably seen these content creators pop up on your ‘For You Page’, but if you haven’t, here are five BU Tiktok stars you need to check out:
1. Kin Yan (@Kindaking)

Kin Yang (@kindaking) is a TikTok content creator who studies marketing at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Like many creators, he began making TikToks as a way to pass the time during the pandemic. Gradually, Kin found a passion for sharing ‘slice of life content’ with his audience! 2. Irene Kim (@Ireneykim)

Irene Kim (@ireneykim) is a senior studying public relations in the College of Communication with a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship. She’s what they call a ‘foodie,’ so most of her content is food-centric. Some of her videos do showcase her life at BU, while the rest of her content focuses on taste-test videos, food reviews, and restaurant highlights. Need an idea of what to eat for dinner tonight, or are looking for a new snack to try out? Check out her page for all things food!
3. Hannah Conroy (@legally13londe)

Hannah Conroy (@legallyl3londe) is a senior studying advertising at the College of Communication with a minor in political science. She started her TikTok page to kill time during the pandemic a few years ago as (somewhat) of a joke. Her page quickly gained popularity. From there, she decided to keep sharing content. Things started getting more serious when she shared videos about being a student at Boston University. Her videos went viral almost every day; people love to see what it’s like to be a student at BU. Because of that, she discovered her passion for content creation. Since then, she’s been able to work with brands and small businesses in Boston, sharing influencer content for them. Her favorite types of content to create and share are vlogs, “get ready with me,” fashion videos, and content about Boston/BU. She can’t wait to see what the future holds after graduation and looks forward to growing her platform.
4. Sophia Caffrey (@Scatt17)

Sophia Caffrey (@scatt17) is a sophomore in the College of Communication studying advertising with a minor in business. Ever since she was 8, Sophia has loved anything to do with content creation. To put her passions to work, Sophia is an intern for the BU Public Relations | Social Media team and helps run the BU TikTok and Instagram channels. She creates lifestyle content on her personal TikTok page, with all things university and Boston related. She makes entertaining content that many Boston University students can relate to!
5. Mary Chen (@mvrychen)

Mary Chen (@mvrychen) is from Queens, NY, and is currently a third year at the Questrom School of Business. She is majoring in information systems and minoring in psychology. Her page is not niche to a genre, but she does enjoy filming “get ready with me” videos and makeup-related content. She also hopes to film more personal and day-in-her-life videos in the future!
Happy TikToking, Terriers!
