Send in Your Creative Zoom Backgrounds
Have a Creative Zoom Background? We Want to See It
BU Today is planning to run a gallery of reader-submitted pictures
Now that it’s the norm to attend meetings and lectures from your childhood bedroom or your makeshift office via Zoom, it’s time to show off your individuality.
As Zoom veterans know, one of the cool features of the remote conferencing service is that you can easily change your background—so you can be standing in front of the Eiffel Tower or on a beach in Fiji or on a safari in Africa. If you’re missing campus like the rest of us, maybe you’re Zooming in to your 3 pm writing seminar from Marsh Plaza (just remember to stay off the seal!).
BU Today is planning to highlight some of the most visual and creative backgrounds BU users have come up with, so send a screenshot of your favorite by April 10 to today@bu.edu to have your quirky, silly, or stunning image included in a gallery we plan to publish later this month.
For those still trying to figure out how to change their Zoom background, check out this student-created user guide.
