Does Anyone Need a Hug?
Student group offers hugs, smiles, on Marsh Plaza Friday

The antidiscrimination group Hug Don’t Hate wants to create a peaceful, diverse student body on the BU campus — one hug at a time.
Group members will be out on Marsh Plaza on Friday, September 5, from noon to 3 p.m., giving out hugs, smiles, and friendly greetings. Founded by Sidney Efromovich (CAS’09), the group tries to break racial, ethnic, religious, and gender barriers through dialogues, promotional events, and of course, spontaneous hugs.
