Name: Caroline Smith
From: Litchfield, Connecticut
School: College of Engineering
Major: Biomedical engineering

What convinced you to come to BU?

I love the city of Boston, and BU has a wonderful program for my major.

What makes you feel most excited about coming to college?

Getting out of the small-town atmosphere and into someplace more exciting, with new people.

What makes you feel most nervous about coming to college?

Work! And the possibility of being broke.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?

Hopefully, a club sport and probably a job.

What is one of the goals of your first year at BU?

To make the Dean’s List and to make lots of new friends.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I hope to create some substantial accomplishments at BU.

What will be your first stop when you start exploring Boston?

Faneuil Hall. I hope to some day sample the food from each vendor.

How are you spending your summer vacation?

Working as a waitress, hanging out with my friends and family, traveling to San Francisco, and driving up to Vancouver with my aunt.
