In October, Boston University’s Dining Services opened Rhett’s, a retro burger-and-shake shop in the George Sherman Union. Rhett the Terrier puppet was on hand for the opening day festivities and ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with the BU Marching Band. But his nemesis — Rhett the BU Terrier mascot — was also there, playing drums, dancing with girls, and threatening the pint-sized Terrier’s turf.
