O say can you sing

The Agganis Arena management office recently invited BU students to try out for a spot singing the Star Spangled Banner at a Terrier hockey or basketball match at Agganis this winter. On October 3 and 4, about 30 students showed up at Agganis in hopes of impressing the judges — all members of the arena administration. "We figured this is a great way to showcase some of BU’s musical talent," says Jessica Conner, supervisor of marketing and promotions at Agganis. "We definitely heard some good candidates."
The lucky winners have not yet been announced, but BU Productions created a video montage of the tryout performances so BU Today visitors can judge for themselves.
