About
Samantha Kelley currently serves as both the Department Administrator and Laboratory Manager. She holds an M.S. in Forensic Anthropology and a B.A. in Archaeology and Biological Anthropology from Boston University. In addition to her departmental roles, Samantha is the campus Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) Collections Manager and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology’s Forensic Anthropology Program.
Prior to joining the department, Samantha managed the Zooarchaeology Laboratory at Boston University from 2019 to 2023 and worked as a Research Analyst for the Smithsonian Institution. Her expertise spans forensic anthropology, bioarchaeology, and museum collections management, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work in both research and education.
