Dylan Mikel Renca has been awarded a graduate student paper prize from the Society for the Anthropology of Religion for his article, “The Trouble of Nonhuman Beings: Virtue, Relationally, and Power on Java in a Time of Islamic Revival.” The prize comes with a monetary award and with mentorship to help revise the paper into a publishable article. Dylan’s award will be formally announced and presented at the AAAs in November. Congratulations Dylan!
