AN Major, Reese Hotten-Sommers awarded a Harold C. Case Scholarship
AN major, Reese Hooten-Somers has been awarded a Harold C. Case Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. This award is one of the highest distinctions granted to undergraduate students at Boston University. Hooten-Somers is one of only 15 recipients this year.
The Harold C. Case Scholarship was established through the contributions of students, alumni, staff, faculty, Trustees, and friends of Boston University to honor the achievements of Dr. Case during his tenure as the fifth President of Boston University from 1951 to 1967. The selection criteria include academic excellence,
extracurricular involvement, contributions to the University, and scholarly potential.
