Undergrad Student Ruofei Shang Receives WGS Community Impact Award Honorable Mention.
The WGS Community Impact Award is presented to outstanding BU students whose research &/or advocacy work has made a significant, positive impact on Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC) communities in ways related to the field of WGS. This award emphasizes the value of students’ enduring commitment to serving marginalized communities, both during and after obtaining their degree. The award honors Christa Rose and WGS alumni’s legacy of student advocacy and celebrates individuals who exemplify the values of social justice, inclusivity, and dedication to the well-being and advancement of marginalized communities.
