Graduate and Undergraduate Students Win Awards at the American Association of Biological Anthropology meeting in Baltimore

PhD candidate Melissa Zarate won the “Outstanding presentation award for exemplary student research” for her presentation “A new reference mitochondrial genome for the yellow-tailed woolly monkey and implications for altitude adaptation”.

AN undergrad, Reese Hotten-Somers, won the American Association of Anthropological Genomics Best Undergraduate Presentation award.
