Congrats to PhD student, Leyla Jafarova, on her award from AAA for her ethnographic film.
Leyla Jafarova received an award from the AAA Society for Visual Anthropology for her masterful and harrowing ethnographic film “We live with maybes: Searching for missing relatives in post-war Azerbaijan.”
Leyla’s award will be presented at the SVA’s Members Meeting this Sunday, November 14th at 7 PM Eastern Time.
