Congratulations to BU Grad Student Hazal Aydin whose paper “Open Body, Theatrical Intimacy and Sexual Harassment: Understanding Gendered Embodiments Through Turkey’s Theatre Industry” has been selected as the winner of the 2023 MES Student Paper Prize.
Papers were judged based on the originality of their contribution to Anthropology of the Middle East, the quality of writing, and on the rigorous analysis of robust ethnographic evidence.
