2022 Anthropology in Color workshop at NYU

Each year NYU Anthropology offers a one-day workshop for students from historically under-represented backgrounds who are considering graduate work in any of the four fields of anthropology. The event is open to anyone considering a PhD, from advanced undergraduate students to those already holding an MA, and where diversity is broadly defined, from first-generation college students to students of color. The symposium aims to demystify how to prepare a successful application, how to undertake advanced scholarly research, and careers both inside and outside the academy.
In 2022, the event will be held online.
